COVID Update in Relation to Sport

Today the Province announced further changes to Public Health Regulations related to COVID-19.  Effective December 21, sports will be able to practice/train with groups of up to 25 without social distancing. The number of 25 includes all participants in the sporting activity (coaches, trainers, etc.).Games, competitions, and events are no longer permitted province-wide.  These regulations will be in effect until January 11, 2021.

The complete press release can be found here:

Due to the above restrictions, the TURKEY SPIEL and the LOBSTER SPIEL are canceled for this year. Next year will hopefully be a better year as we will have the opportunity to get vaccinated and things will start to return to normal.

We are still planning to have a winter curling session but due to the new restrictions, we will not be able to start curling in the new year until at least Tuesday the 12th of January 2021. Please stand by for further instructions from your Board of Directors and the Nova Scotia Department of Health.

Thank you for your patience and understanding during these difficult and trying times.
